I know there is a simply answer but how to I keep the menus from changing postions everytime I start up SW? How to I change the unit default to inch, I have to manual change it everytime I start a new part?

| The menu thing is weird, SW should always open exactly as you left it when the program was shut down. What version & SP U running? Your default units are set in the document template that you pick when you start a new part/assy/drw. You need to customize and save your own templates. Once customized go "save as" then pick (3rd on list) "prt template" or "Drwing template" depending on type of doc file.

| We are on the same version and I do not have the menu issues. I would assume that you have tech support from your VAR and there is a SW forum on their site. I do NOT like their forum at all (it is the way old thread style) because it is not user friendly, so I don't go on it. If support from your VAR is any near as good as my VAR you will be very pleased with dealing with them.
