Hi
I need to build a part for foundry
I make the part bigger by scaling but i don't how can i make the inner hole smaller (it is a parasalid format file).
Please let me know how can i make the inner shape smaller when i make the part bigger by scaling for outer shape .
I assume you want to put machining stock in the holes. Scale your model for the shrink req'd. Then model/fill in the holes/holes with a plug and then make a new hole to the size you need.
Note: if you have Featureworks it could dissect that simple part and give you a new part with a feature tree.
If you are scaling for shrink alone then just scale the part. the inside hole will be bigger but will shrink to size as long as your shrink rate is correct.
