| Hi folks, As a long time user of Solidworks, I am currently looking at putting 20 seats of Camworks in to help develop our department on CAM . Has anyone in the zone been using Camworks? and if so what are your views. Any comments would be appreciated GazT |

| CRPDGAZ, I would take the time to do your home work on Camworks and ONECNC get a feeling for the strong points. there are a few CAdcam softwares that work great side by side with SW2004. I for one use mastercam with solid works and love takeing the direct files from SW. you can add a button in solid works that will take the modle afte construction right into mastercam to cut from. My point is just look around and find what works best for what your company needs.

| Thanks Mate, I'll have a scout around and see what else is available. I have been looking at Camworks as the students I teach cannot get there head round EdgeCAM and want something that works with SW2003/4. I am doing some trials this week and should be able to make a decision before Christmas. Regards GazT |
