I have a jpg, is there any way to convert it to a DXF and insert it into solidworks for modeling??..I want to engrave the emblem into a part, but dont really have the drawing skills to make it,lol.. or if anyone has seen a solidworks or Parasolid file that would work too..

| Sent the dxf to your email - lemme know if you needed the new one instead. I've got a ton of logos on file from past jobs, and within limits can vectorize anything of reasonable resolution. Hope it helps.

| I use Corel draw and recreate the image. It's not that hard - mostly you just pic out ovals and rectangle shapes and weld them together. If you can pick up a copy - couple hundred bucks off ebay - I will send you some tutorial drawings. Usually you can pick up the theory in one or two days and be proficient inside a week of work. Corel also has some of the nicest automatic vectorizing options I have seen. Even if you do not believe you can redo one from scratch you can get very close from the automatic option. In the meantime - just post anything you need. Keeps me in practice.

| We use TracTrix to convert Raster to Vector. It works pretty well.
