- Create a slddrw of the model with the required view for machining.
- Your sheet scale and part scale MUST MUST MUST be 1:1
- Save as dxf/dwg
Hi, can anyone help me out here. I have a series parts that I want to have cnc milled. The guys at the shop asked for a dxf file for each of the parts. Each part is quite simple. Basically rectangles with a load of holes drilled in it. Each part will use 3/4'' aluminium.
Do I need to provide a 3D image or just a 2D image with all of the holes dimensioned?
I am using SolidWorks 2010, and I have tried saving as a dxf but there seems to be a lot a options which I don't really understand.
Can anyone guide me through this. Cheers
