    newbie...SW11 ==> back to SW10?

    I've had someone do some work in SW11 (not by choice)
    They exported to parasolid and I was able to import to SW10.

    Problem is I have a ton of Imported Bodies and I need to edit? (had no luck with Featureworks! and tried Interactive many many times with no luck)

    Attached is just one of the files.
    If someone could walk me through the correct Featureworks steps to make this work so I can edit the features in SW10 much appreciated!

    I think if I was you I would simply remodel it [depending on how many parts are of this sort. I did some simple checks and the part is just a simple revolved feature w/ a 14.25" curved face on it, then two faces thickened in on the corner. I messed w/ feature works a bit to see if I could get it to work but no luck. As soon as you get a bit curvey w/ a part the performance of FW goes down the drain.. If there are soo many parts that it's not cost effective to remodel, then another [possible] option is to upgrade?

    When I say re-model it I'm meaning you could remodel over the parts that are imported [in the same part file..{after backing up the originals of course}]. By using the imported body as a guide and QC check, you remodel then delete the imported body after you are done. After which you can go and make your changes?

    If most of your parts look that way, I wouldn't waste any time trying to use FeatureWorks. As Jerry said, you are better off redoing the parts or installing 2011 if you need features.
