All my dimensions show as black squares?

I hope someone can help me. Yesterday I was working in Solidworks and I did something that caused all my dimensions in all my models to display as a large solid black box instead of the numeric value. I can still grab the box and place it some where else on the screen and the dimension lines and arrows are still fine. I have messed around for hours trying to figure out how to fix this problem. I don't know if it has anything to do with it but I was making some changes to free up desktop resources on my computer with the MSCONFIG program. I would sure appreciate any guidance.

Use SolidWorks Rx to open in the Safe Mode that bypasses Tools/Options (SolidWorks Rx is found in Start > All Programs > SolidWorks 20XX > SolidWorks Tools).

If this fixes the problem, something is likely amiss in your SolidWorks registry (the fact that you were in msconfig makes me believe this might be the case). Post here and I can help you reset your registry.

If it doesn't fix your problem, it would be helpful to see a screenshot. You should also try starting in the other safe mode as well (Software OpenGL).
