    Solid Works 2007 Question

I may need to replace my computer soon, will Ver. 2007 run without issues in Win 7, or should I have XP pro installed on the new system?.

    I would use Win7 Pro 64.
If it doesn't work correctly, Pro has really good Win Xp emulation

Unless you plan on using it through emulation, I would avoid Windows 7.

SW2010 is the earliest version that is supported on Win7. The earliest version I've installed is SW2009 SP4.1. The Installation Managers for earlier service packs that I have tried won't even run.
