opening mcx2 file

hi, I was wandering if anyone here could please help me to open a mastercam solid i think it was originally modeled in catia but i am not sure, all i know is mastercam file thank you for your advice. I tried to open it but solid works gives me invalid not found, locked or incompatible type of file message .
