I can't think of one right now but I will look and let you know what I find. I have one so when I get home I will see what one it is and let you know. It is a good book for starting from ground zero and up.
Hi all, I got a student version of SW and would like to learn it. Apart from the tutorials that come with it, can anyone recommend a good manual/book to learn it? I'm presently looking (via internet) at all the different books available on SW but it'd be better if someone could recommend one based on my needs and present skill level.
Experience: I can draw in 2D using AutoCAD (although I can't use it to anywhere near its potential), haven't drawn anything in 3D on any program.
Needs: More of a hobby basis for the moment (projects, etc.) with a view to: Engineering and assemblies (machining, milling, etc.), sheet metal (design then unfold), tube work (design and later notching or mating to other assemblies)
Thanks for your help in advance

I used a book called Solidworks 2006 for designers that I got from Amazon
back when I was learning Solidworks.
I thought this was a very intuitive book and there is probably a 2010 version
out now.
