    Howto: Set plane on angle.

Can someone tell me how to set a plane on an angle to the center line axis.

I'm looking at modeling some 45 degree porting, but for the life of me. I can't make the angles work out.

    Thanks.

Here's one way: select the menu: Insert/Reference Geometry/Plane

A box will open for creating a plane. There will be on option for selecting an angle - click it. You then need to select an existing face/plane and linear edge to locate the new plane. Then click OK to create.

    Hope this helps,

The problem was that I didn't have a linear edge to select.

What I ended up doing was creating a center line axis, then create a perpendicular axis to that. That allowed me to create my angled plane. But it was in the center of the model.

So I created a surface point, then a parallel plane at the point.

I hope there is an easier way to do it. *shrugs*
