    SW 2010 dimension palette

Hi can anybody help me? When i use the dimension palette on a drawing to change a dimension to show, say 3 decimal places, although i am able to choose this option, it does not place the extra decimal places on the drawing. All other options on the dimension palette seem to work properly. I wonder what I am doing wrong?

UPDATE. Since asking this question I have noticed that I CAN place a chosen number of decimal places after the point if it is a part number ie 29.667 however if it is a whole number ie 29 i cant make it show 29.00 I want to show a certain number of decimal places to determine the tolerance. ie .o = plus or minus .5mm .00= plus or minus .2mm etc.
