I was hoping someone could explain how I can take a set of lines and make them a single enitity so that I can use the offset tool on it. Thanks Dan PS. copy of the file Im working on is attached. |

| You need to use all the different constraints to join them together. I can't check out the file, but if they're all disconnected then you can't offset from the whole thing in one go. Chances are you'll just need to use the point-to-point constraint to join the ends of each line together, which should give you a continuous profile to offset from. Hope this helps. I don't have SE on me at the moment, but I've used it pretty much all through Uni so hopefully my memory serves me well heh... |
