Hi All, I have been using solidedge for a while now, but I have just come across the Mold tooling addition in version 19.My question is, has anybody here used it and if so can you tell me if it is possible to import a solid part into it, and then create a Cavity/core plate which can then be used as a solid itself and be machined in cam software, that will then give the shape of the original solid so that it will be replicated when molded.I am trying to find a solution to not having to model the part twice, ie not modelling the reverse of the solid to create a mold.If anyone has any other ideas I am all ears. Thanks to you all Rob |
