V20 Problems with Vista? - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

Hello all, I have just installed version 20 on my Vista notebook and there is a problem. It will run for a couple of minutes and then not respond and shut down.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall to no avail. I also tried to do a repair on it, when this popped up.

error 1904.modual
c:\windows\system32\hhactivex.dll failed to register.

Has anyone ran into similar problems and been able to solve them? Any help would be appreciated.

I've been using the student version (yeah, I'm a noob) of V20 on Vista for a couple of weeks now, and I haven't had any problems. Sorry I can't help.

The school I am attending does not have Solidedge for cad training. Is it still possible to get a student version?

Does anyone have a link to view what are the requirements?
