Hi. I have been doing the SC2009 2.5 milling tutorials, the one involving Excersize3 file. So to understand the toolpaths I have paid closer attention at the steps 17-22, pages 105-109. I was trying to understand the "Technology" parameters and I believe I did everything as in the tutorial and wanting to understand more about how "Clear Offset" works I took gradual measurements after each tool pass on the profile and got this 0.1 discrepancy in the end. The stock model is 2 offset from the target model and taking a measurement from the stock to the target model's profile yields 6 units. ![]() However after Solidverify the measurement gives 6.1 units. ![]() How is this explained? Thanks. |
