| Tell us more Macrosat. What sort of operation is it i.e. 2D, 3D, HSM, 5 Axis. What version of SolidCAM and what service pack. Are you using the new "STL" machining module in SolidCAM? I have never seen an IGES file in SolidCAM (the verify modules use STL) so is it a SolidWorks problem. Is the part an imported IGES file or SolidWorks native? Tell us more please.  |

| Having checked the SolidCAM website, this bug was fixed in SP2. |

When I calculate the operation,I get IGES write excepion "IGES writer resulted in failure" error. Why?
