    XY Interpolation on Mill/Turn

I`m trying to make an operation about XY interpolation on Mill/Turn. The problem is, the SolidCAM considers only the side of Z+. How can I perform that operation in the opposite side, that is, on the Z- side?

Normally we just change all the z-point by key in , or open your programming with cimco edit , that is easy for you to replace all your Z+ become Z- by using (mode REPLACE)!!! Hope i am not talking nonsense here............ Sorry if i miss understanding here!!!

Interpolation XY on the opposite side

    Hellow,

Thanks for the reply, but the problem is other. Observing that the plane XY has two sides, Solidcam just considers the side of Z+ direction for milling, in that case.

As I want to mill on the opposite side, that is, Z- direction, how can I to do that in Solidcam?

I guess I must be misunderstanding as well because whether or not you are on z+ or z- your x and y axis stay the same.

Make your part in the software you have and then flip your z numbers in the post accordingly as mentioned. If it is an odd shape you are milling and orientation is key, you may have to cam it out backwards.

I still fail to see your issue, but how about translating your part so the face visible in your drawing is z0 rather than a positive value.

If your cam software only registers one side of your z axis then you will have to play around within those confines and modify your post accordingly.

It's necessary create a new position on the opposite side for working that (Y)
