| I just upgraded to SC 2010 (current version). I have a lot of older DWG / DXF 2D files I'd like to use as to program from. Does anybody know a good way to get them into SC? I use SC inside Solidworks 2011. There must be an easy way to do this...

| You open them directly in SolidWorks and check the option to "Import into a new part" when the DXF / DWG options come up. I haven't done this for a long time so don't take what I say as gospel please. One thing you have to be aware of is if everything is on one layer in your DXF then it will come in as one sketch in SW. |
