    Screen resolution problem

    Hi all

Have any of you experienced shaddowing or non-screen refresh when the resolution is set at true colour 32bit.

Currently I am having to run at high colour 16bit because when I do anything, it is like the screen is not refreshing. Could this be an out of date openGL problem, or some sort of update which has basically done it in??

The models in Solidworks are perfect, its only once Solidcam is loaded, its like the computer has gone back in time??

Memory is plenty and speed is good. Maybe a virus (b-*tards whoever creates them!!)

It sounds like a driver issue to me. I don't run 32 bit true colour, in fact I have the display properties in SW turned right down - no shadow, no lighting effects etc. - because I found that the drivers for my Kensington Trackball played havoc with the display.

We were having a lot of problems after our last SC upgrade and it seemed to come down to out of date graphics card drivers causing it all. Updated them from the Nvidia web site and it was much better.
