Creating shaped tool

Has any one had luck creating a shaped tool? So far going by the .pdf starting on page 177 I am going no where.

I use shaped tools all the time - use the help screens to get detailed help.

When you come to define the shape chain, switch over to the SW feature tree and insert a sketch at the top level of the assembly, draw the tool shape (only half of it) and then use this sketch to define the chain.
