Have you setup everything in the ESS, and get the green light, if not go to there website they have good videos and information on how to setup the ESS

Hey is anyone out there running the Ess with PMDX 126 and Leadshine Am882 drives. I need help getting this set up to turn motors. I've tried for two weeks to get it to communicate step and dir signals with no luck. PMDX shows no faults and step light blinks when I run from mach3. Charge pump activated and estop assigned. Motor will turn from am882 pro tune pulser. I am thinking it is mach3 but not sure
Please help if you have the background

Ye I believe everything on the Ess is set up fin I can communicate great with the PMDX board. I have been able to turn on ports and pins Ect. So I don't think that is the problem. I think it is the drive. I can send step signals to PMDX from Mach just fine.Originally Posted by mactec54

Yes the estop is set up and working both with the control panel estop and the remote estop I have configured into the cnc

So I still have no movement from Mach3 in motors. Tried different settings in Mach. Have movement fine with pro tune in motors. I am going to buy a gecko 213v and try that wired up to see if I can get motor movement from Mach. I have no clue what do do next. Get pulse steps fine from PMDX in the test mode, but still wont send pulse steps to Leadshine. Pulling my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!!
