    SmithyCNC 622 Mach3 Help

    Hello,

Our high school recently purchased a SmithyCNC 622 with Mach3 software. We are having a little bit of trouble getting it working though, we have the machine set up and the program on but the program does not seem to work with the machine. We thought it might be a problem with the ports and pins numbers, but we are sure we put them in all correctly and it still won't respond to it. We have also followed the Mach3 installation guide but still nothing.

We hit an override switch on the machine itself and turned it on, so we know it functions, we just need some help getting it to work with the program.

Does anyone have any ideas to help us out?

We have gotten the machine connected successfully and all axis' are moving but we cannot get the spindle to work correctly. It was working correctly at first but something happened and it has not worked correctly since. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, we got it a while ago, everything works. Right now we are just figuring out how to do what we want, it's going good though, thanks.
