    Older Smithy / CNC

    Greetings,

    The Gecko drives are good!

Unfortunately, I am not familiar wth WINNC.

My Smithy Granite does not have CNC.

I have a Sieg Super X3 (Grizzly G0619) that has had a CNC conversion and I use Mach3 for the CNC controller software.

For simple jobs, I just enter G code in Mach3 and run it.

For more complex jobs I use Visual Mill to generate the G code and then run it in Mach3.

Did you receive any documentation for the software included with the machine?

Have you researched the software provider's website?

Down loading and reading the Mach3 manual might help provide a better understanding of CNC.

You might consider joining the Smithy Machines group:
