Looks promissing. Any idea when it might be available? Have you heard of price yet? What about some specs on it?

WYLD, are you connected to Smitty? There doesnt seem to be any feed back on the New CNC mill packages yet, and there already going to do a CNC lathe?

No...I am not connected to any of the suppliers or advertisers on this site. I just like to share what I dig up...

Hi Jess

Yes, I wonder about that also? I havn't heard anything on the CNC Mills. Dosen't look like they are selling very well?

The Spindle Motor on this Lathe looks like an over sized Servo Motor? It does have an Encoder mounted on it. It kind of looks on the small size for a Spindle Motor?

this is the Sieg KC6 lathe found here in the Sieg brochure: http://www.siegind.com/cnc_machine.pdf

It would only make sense that Smithy offers this lathe in the usa since they already are offering the Sieg KX3 cnc mill here under the Smithy cnc 622 name.

I wonder what cnc controller will be used with this lathe and if it will work with the Mach3 software...? anybody hear anything yet on price or availibility.. this lathe looks to be exactly what I'm waiting for..
