I am real curious to see the outcome. I was considering getting a Tormach SlantPro but ran across Sin_Arms post (in the Tormach forum) and was actually interested in the FL300 II. Got my fingers crossed on this because I'd like to see about getting the FL300 II instead of the Tormach.

From posting elsewhere on the zone, it sounds like Smithy is providing a FL-300-2 in exchange for the lathe that Sin_Arms bought.

FL-300 is apparently a different manufacturer, and seems to be a higher quality product based upon what a few other owners have posted here.
