Well hello all, I just ordered the Smithy granite 3in1. I would like to earn some income with it so any suggestions anyone has about how I can go about doing this I would surely appreciate. I'm an entry level machinist/hobby machinist but I will not shy away from doing small jobs to pay for this machine. Any advice or any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey - I know I'm a few months after you posted this. but I just got a Smithy Granite 1340 myself! after a few months how are you liking it? Right off the bat I'm having some trouble getting a smooth finish on turning aluminum - I'm coming from an Enco 3-in-1 so I figured the Smithy would be an upgrade, but so far I can't get a smooth turn :/ it seems to me that the 7 + III setting just isn't slow enough of a powerfeed - I could be missing something as it's only day 1 with the machine

I built my own stand too
