| Hi, I just posted a website dedicated to a CNC conversion. It shows the detailed conversion of my Smithy 1220 LTD, 3-in-1 machine, with lots of pictures and info (10 MB) showing the entire process. I hope you will find it helpful. http://users.adelphia.net/~kchris/ Regards, Chris K |

| Chris, Nice job on your cnc conversion and on the web sight detailing it. I have a Busy Bee 3in1 clone (Canada). I want to to do a similar conversion. I hope you don't mind if I PM you in the future with some questions. I'm in a new house with a lot of grounds work to do this coming spring/summer. I don't expect I'll be able to start it until next winter. regards Mike D |

Chris, I've looked at my 3 in 1 and the Zaxis quill has about 0.030" backlash. I was wondering if you had a similar problem, and how you dealt with it? Mike D
