| CMM point scan to SmartCAM Hey guys, My shop has an older CMM that produces .cam files. We then use SmartCAM to generate a 2D depiction of the point scans. My problem is I am new at this and the only guy in the shop that knew the complete procedure is on vacation for a while and jobs are being held up because I can't figure out how to import the .cam files into SmartCAM. Any suggestions? We've got v14 and I've tried playing with Cam Connection but can't seem to make it work. It seems like if you don't start with a .dxf, .igs etc file then SmartCAM won't read it. |
