That sounds like an E-Stop code.
I'm not 100% but thats the best my mind can come up with.
Can you post some or all of the code so we can take a look at it?
Not sure if this is the right place to post this.. I need a G code expert to debug what was once a working program. Its a paying job in the LA area on a siemens controller.
The error code is 3000 1 N0 Program Error
I am just not enough of an expert to tell whats wrong. I will try to get more info and post it here. The program runs through its measuring portion and when it gets ready to cut it stops with the above error.
Please contact me if you can help.

What model is your controller?
Ok Here are the details. I have included serveral pics.
the version, the Screen where the error first occurs, The screen of where it stopped in the code, and a screen of all the code before and after it stopped.
As I said any and all help appreciated
Looks like a Locomotive wheel set re profiling lathe?
Would this be a Hegenshiedt Lathe by any chance?
The error could be in the probing, especially if the program has worked up till now, these types of lathes generally only run one program all their life.
But if it is hegenshiedt, they have offices in I believe Ill.
If so, it may be worth a contact to their tech service.

Yes it is a hegenshiedt. The error occurs at the beginning of the cut sequence. It does its probe, collects all the values, and when it starts the cut sequence the error occurs.
hegenshiedt is un-responsive and says they can not help for another 3 months. They only have 1 knowledgeable guy
I am not familiar with these latest models, but It look strange that the actual dia shows up as 25.975 and the target dia is 26.000? also it shows number of cuts 0?
Is this a normal display, would the operator Know?
In a pinch you could email Germany, this is where the program is usually written. They probably would not get it untill tomorrow now.
