cam for xyz 560 mini mill with 828d controller

Hi guys does any one have any expirence of using cam software on these machine the 828 controller is the new version of the 810d so any one have any comments or thoughts on a good cam package

I use SmartCam and have done for years. Excellent for my needs. It all depends on how much you want to pay. You may only need a standard milling package or you may want to do surfacing etc. I can put you on to the UK agent who is in Bristol. If you are not to far away, he will always do a demo. The SmartCam FreeForm will do 3D. But that is the more expensive and is what I use. You do not pay for post pro's. There is a library of them and you pick the one that is nearest to what you want and then edit it to suit. The agent will organise this for you. I have done my own. I use this for Heidenhain controls.
