    Sinumerik 810M MD364* MD368* problem!

    Trying to do a retrofit with Sinumerik 810M (3GE 570.805.9101.04) but I have a problem.
    My encoder has 1000 imp / rev and the pitch of ball screw is 8mm.
    The display shows the path taken 2 mm for full circle.

    >>MD 364 * and 368 * have no effect on measured size.<<

    Please help.

    The label 3GE 570 805 ... What does the 805 ... System 810 not configurable.

    My problem is that I can not set up a measurement system to measure the real mechanical movement.

    My encoder has 1000 imp / rev (mounted directly on the ball screw), the pitch of ball screw is 8mm.

    Mech. movement of 8mm (one full circle of ball screw) = 2mm actual value display on NC monitor.

    How do I set parameters to get the right actual value (8mm)?

    >>MD 364 * and 368 * have no effect on measured actual value.<<

    first things first ,..in all CNC control system ,..such as Siemens Heidenhain Fanuc ,..before all you must mention the axis is rotary or linear ,..then you must mention that linear axis measuring sytem is rotary encoder or linear scale ,..then mention the pulse per revolation ,..if you dont have the 810M manufacturer document ,..just let me know

    I have experience with the latest numeric control.

    I set the linear axis, I have manual for 810M but,
    MD364* Pulse no. increment for variable weighting (in my case 4000), and MD368* Traverse path for variable increment weighting (in my case 16000) have no any effect on actual value.

    Please help

    wrong machine data

    i think you are looking at the wrong md.

    let me get back to work monday and i will look at some of my machines and verify what md you need to be configuring.

    do you have pdf manual for the 810 control?

    Thank you for trying to help.
    I already have a manual and I do everything right but it does not work because of this and ask for help.

    MD364* Pulse no. increment for variable weighting (in my case 4000 or 4),
    MD368* Traverse path for variable increment weighting (in my case 16000 or 16) have no effect on actual value.
    * 0 => X axe, 1 => Y axe, 2 => Zaxe

    I have three 810M (two 3GE 570.805.9101.04 and one 810 GA3 =>3GE 570.822.9102.21).
    On this 810 GA3 change in the MD364* and MD368 * works immediately and fine, but the other two does not work, so I was all that strange.
    All three are currently on my desk and use the rotary encoder connected to a measuring system on the X axis. They behave as if they do not take into account the data from MD364 and MD368.
    I wonder if there's a hidden bit that it could involve calculating.

    So far I have tried everything without success
