    Sinumerik Powerline 840-D with SHOP-MILL

    Hi,

My customer is looking for Off - Line (PC based)
    SHOP-MILL software for Sinumerik 840-D.
He wants to develop all programs on PC & transfer by DNC to CNC.
    No editing on the CNC.
    Suggest a solution.
    - Deepak

    Hi Deepak

You should talk to Siemens, they have the control software available for the PC. It is called Sinutrain. It is a full representation of the control you see on the machine including all the shopmill functionality, and can be connected to you machine for program transfer.

I think he meant a normal PC, not the actual machine.
