Hi, I am having a little trouble use a Siemens 810G. It is the controller for a Blohm Profimat i believe its the 412 model. The machine is old (from 1993) and the guy who used to program it quit and left me to run it. I've been using it as a creepfeed surface grinder, but now its time to learn how to dress radius's and angles in the wheel to profile grind. However, I can't find anything useful on this machine and this controller. I am wondering also if all Gcode is the same? Meaning can I learn Gcode from a lathe or a mill and use it to control this machine? Or does this machine have its own code? Also where do I get the m codes, g codes, and n codes for this? Can't find anything and need to learn fast. Thanks, any help would be great!
