canadian supplier threaded rod?

Hi

Would anyone know of a Canadian source for the acme type threaded rod? An online supplier would be great. Im on Vancouver Island. I can get it from Enco in the USA but shipping is brutal.

Thanx for any help
Rickkun

Mcmaster Carr ships from Canada. I received my items in 2 days! I am on the Sunshine coast, but was in Montreal when I ordered from them.

I'm not sure if there is Brafasco in Vancouver but here in Toronto they have it or can get it. Brafasco Industrial Fasteners.
The problem with shipping Acme rod is if it's over 2'-3' it will most likely be bent when you get it. I spent a month or more looking for some myself ( 6' lenghts ) In the end I opted for a dual drive belt/chain system. Works awsome and way way cheaper. Not to mention the added speed I get from not haveing to worry about whipping.
