4 axis verify utility?

Anyone know of a 4 axis graphical (3d) verify/backplot program that has a functional demo? I can handle some limitations, but line numbers and number of axis can't be limited.

MetaCut Utilities. You have the standard 30 days and can get more time if you ask them.

Metacut is the cheapest out there, I just got done shopping around.

Vericut is sweeeeet. about 17k though.

Metacut works really well for the price, about 1500. Does lots of other useful stuff too.

After about an hour of pulling out what hair I have left, I finally got MCU to work right. I guess you could blame it on a slightly unusual setup. Unfortunately, some of the more advanced stuff (solid compare, error(crash) checking, etc.) can't be used with 4 axis toolpaths. But at least it shows me the path compared to the model. So not all was wasted.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Yea I have to agree...it is not the whiz bang, easy 4 axis sim I hoped it was, but it will do the job with some effort. It will only really backplot the 4 axis job it will not sim it for you, as in pretty solid model and all. But it does run off of the g-code so what you see is what you will get.

I have a lot more faith in MCU than Mastercams verify.

I guess I can't complain about MetaCut, It comes as a bundle package along with XPert DNC when I purchased VisualMill 5.

Check out the Predator CNC Editor which support 2 axis turning, 3-5 axis milling G-Code Verification /Simulation as well as back plotting. The best part - $500 for a seat. Full 30-day trial and complete manual when downloading the application.

Watch out Metacut -
If you want inspection, measuring, output to STL, etc. look at Predator's Virtual CNC Software. The cost is 1/3 of Vericut and training is much easier.
