Similar in design to its larger sibling, the popular GSV-690, the 4" model features precision ground components made of 80,000 PSI ductile cast iron. The bedways and jawplates are hardened to 45 HRC, and clamping repeatability is +/- 0.0004". A 45 degree wedge and hardened/ground steel hemisphere prevent workpiece lift.
