Lathe cadcam

Well, I have been yapping about getting a lathe in the shop for years and it finaly happend . Its not even on the floor yet but I am wondering about programing. Everybody has told me over the years that you dont need cadcam for a lathe, but have allways used Surfcam for the mills. My understanding is Surfcam for the lathe is crap and I am wondering what else is out there.

PS The machine is a Hardige superslant with twin turrents. It has a fanuc 6tc control

Feature Cam's lathe programing ROCKS!!! But I have seen surfcam make lathe part programs...

Thanks for the imput, I will look them over. I havent had much time to test drive any other systems yet but I cant wait.
