Importing SurfCam IGES files into Alibre

Error
File import has errors
Exception of type 'com Alibre acis ACISE exception' was thrown
Object reference not set to an instance of an object

I am trying to move some designs from SurfCam Velocity 4 as IGES files into Alibre 11 and trying to build a model from it.

Anyone had success with this?

Thanks

Eagle

What version of Alibre 9,10, or 11??

SurfCam does not export to a STEP file.

Thank you

Have you asked this question on Alibre's Forum?? You can also Chat with Support if you bought the Maintenance.

Have you tried to Import the Iges into an Assembly??

I really stay away from Iges files. They tend to be quite problematic.

What other Export File Formats do you have with your SurfCam???
