Hitachi Seiki

Hi everyone,

First of all, Im new to this forum and wanted to say hello to everyone.

I have a Hitachi Seiki HT20SII with LX3 control. (1989)
I dont know which software is installed but it looks really old.
Is there a way to upgrade to a better Software? Maybe with some graphics and simulation?

Would be great if someone could help me.

Ragards,

j_love

I don't know what your looking for as far as graphics, but even the new NL's and NZ's dont have a way to watch the tool path with the machine locked. Frustrating I think. Robert

thx for the reply.

If you look at this manual http://www.yaskawa.com/site/dmcontrol.nsf/(DocID)/TKUR-5EKJA3/$File/TOE-C843-9.21E.pdf

You can see that the simulation is also included in this "Compact Programming Function" upgrade.

Can I get this from somewhere? does it work on all LX3BT? I have an LX3BT.

I couldn't tell you, but that control is as outdated as kids using sticks to have fun. You should learn to attach links. I would assume that some one is building a retrofit that is certainly more friendly, I never liked that control (just personally). I think if you researched more you would find more specific results.
