Nl Capps Problem

Hi people I am in West Australia We currently have NL 3000
which is being running fine for 2 years constantly using capps.
The other day A Microsoft type Alarm threw up every time pressed Capps.Says that problem is with Main exe. very common window often seen in windows software.
So at the moment can't access Caps on NC or stored caps programs.
Still can run and load converted fanuc Programs.Has the local Mori guy bluffed .Any Ideas appreciated

Does the local Mori guy have the software to reinstall MAPPS? Generally that is our first move.

How many programs do you have in your CAPS and PROGRAM folders? A couple of times machines had so may files in them it slowed them way down. This could make it unstable.

Update to our caps problem the local guy has decided we need to replace Mapps internal hard drive after trying to install updated software. Apparently its a Memory board costing approx 1800 Aus dollars hoping for goodwill gesture from Mori Seiki as its out of Warranty.
