Worth converting to ball and screw?

Is it worth the trouble to convert a Vertical mill to ball and screw?

I gave an opinion in this thread, albeit, referring to general applications, not specifically this machine type (of this forum)

I have first hand experience in converting a mini mill such as you want to convert, MOD. And I must say that it is definately worth it, as Ive expressed to you on more than one occasion.

THe accuracy of these little chinese mills is very surprising, if set up correctly when converting. Concidering what you pay for it.........well worth it for the learning experience, if nothing else.
