Pre-Setter "Tool Eye" calibration?

Hey all I run a Mori ZL-200 and SL-154 with Y capability. Now i was wondering if anyone knows how to calibrate the tool eye so when a tool is touched of Then the Offset reads 0.0000 and you don't have to adjust the wear offset. I know when i touch off my tools to take them +.006 and they will cut at nominal. Any help would be great.

You simply have to adjust the parameters for the presetter.

Fanuc controls should be parameter 5015 for ID tools and 5016 for OD tools.

Mitsubishi controls should use parameters 2015 and 2016.

Before changing any parameters write down the current value.

If you are not experienced changing parameters, contact your local Mori dealer for assistance. Things can go wrong in a hurry if the wrong parameter gets changed.
