mori sl-6b tailstock movment

i need my tail stock to move in program with the chuck unclamp i want to move it forward advance the quill to center and hold a part while my operator puts shims in the jaws then clamps the part hits cycle start tailstock moves back and cycle runs i dont have any books on this machine so i dont know if there is a parameter i can change, machine has a fanuc 6t control on it
