Can I be self employed with Lathe machine?

I am planing to buy a Lathe machine. I want to ask you, can I able to get job work for Lathe? And from which type Industries I can get work? Any information will be helpful to me. Thanks in advance.

You need to search out the kinds of businesses that need turned parts and see if they need suppliers.

I agree with gar. I would also like to add that buying a beer for a potential customer with some casual B.S. goes a LONG way. People like to deal with their buddies and what you want is lots of buddies.
