47mm bearing spacers

I am looking for a place to purchse some 1mm, 2mm and 3mm spacers for a set of bearings that have an OD of 47mm and ID of 20mm. A web link would be appreaciated.

Thanks

Vince

Choices for EXACTLY what you're looking for are small.

BUT, you can check out Smalley for wave and other similar washers that are used for preloading the outer ring of electric motors. These may address SOME of the sizes you're looking for. McMaster-Carr sells them and maybe Grainger as well.

For EXACTLY what you want, you're probably better off having some lazer cut. Simply call a lazer cutter and have then make some out of hard steel shim stock.

Try the guys at Lazer Cutting (586-468-5300). They're in Clinton Twp Michigan. They made some valve spring shims for me and that's what we had them make them out of. They had various thicnesses of materials in-stock and could readily get whatever else we wanted/needed.

All you'll typically need is a DXF file of the "washer" and a verbal description of the thicness(es) that you want/need.

You have to have an account to request custom spacers. Once you get on the above page there are about 12 more steps to select a custom spacer. I would suggest you call Misumi and ask for technical support and have them step you through it. It took me 30 minutes on the phone to get through the entire process and that included signing up for an account. If you are using IE 7 you will also have to make a change to the setting to get the custom order screen to function properly.
