BoBcad Purchase

I just purchased the bobcad v 19 and 4 lesson cd's is this a wise choice for a beginner with no experiance with a cad program,And anything I should be aware of Im running xp one all computers thanks Kenneth

I don't mean to sound negative, but you already bought your stuff. What would it matter now? (purchase validation?).

Bobcad/cam seems fine if you get it at the right price. In some ways, if you want to move up at some point, those skills aren't all that trasferrable compared to mastercam or some others, especially in the cad area.

Unless you have exotic needs, it will probably serve you just fine if you don't have trouble learning it.

I did the same thing, and the lesson CDs were very valuble. I spent lots of time working all the lessons, and I still forget quite a bit.

I had asked for advise and no one replied so they called today and took my money thats why the late question. I don't plan on working for a machine shop this will be just for hobbie use sense I am converting a machine to cnc just learning that too. I guess I will learn from mistakes also.I had down loaded lots of free trials and such. Here is what things look like at the start of the week-
