Babington burner

I need a pump for my Babington burner. Is a low volume oil burner pump the way to go? It seems like most pumps are 150 GPH and up but there's no way my globe will be able to take a 2+ gallon per minute flood. I know I can choke down theh flow with a valve but it would be nice to have a much smaller pump to begin with.

Motorcyle engine oil pump will do the trick Are you blowing the air in? If you are then a suitable reduction between the fan/pump and a means of restricting the air would seem sweet to me hth

edit) Can you post some pictures as i'm going to build a shed heater from the Babbington patent soon
