Bridgeport vs Alliant Mill

Does anyone know the actual difference between a Bridgeport and Alliant mill? I have an Alliant mill with variable speed drive. I need a motor assembly and some various parts. Alliant parts and difficult to find but Bridgeport are not. Alliant and Bridgeport seem to be very close but i am not sure I could buy parts for a Bridgeport and have them fit an Alliant. Any help would be great. Thanks,

Charles
