Thumbs up First Metal Part Cut!!

Hey guys here is the first metal part I have cut with my Taig CNC Mill. The mill did an excellent job! Let me add that the part was cut in 2 passes of .125 each and I used a 1/4 end mill bit. I then cleaned it up and dipped the handles in a rubber coating! Boy this cnc stuff is fun!

Very cool woodknack, and the rubber dip was a nice addition, I had forgotten all about that stuff. I am still waiting on some tooling so have yet to cut my first piece but it is very near and am looking as forward to it as you were yours. CNC is not how I make my living but many of the guys online here at CNCzone do and they still seem to have a passion for it in spite of the frustration that must go on as in any business. It is fun to be sure.

UMMM, well I am not really sure. I just wanted to see how the Taig held up. My boy wants a pare to put in his fish & tackle box. Be just right for that sort of stuff. I'll leave a pair in my tool box for small things!?
